I am trying to set up a Quick Battle Generator, Last Option: Naval vs Naval with a Destroyer T45 vs Arleigh Burk Destroyer, mid Atalantic under Quick Battles.

But I keep getting message box errors 'string value uninitialised' 'local player ship' etc.

The other Quick Battle types seem to work OK.

Does this happen consistently or only immediately after playing a CWDB scenario?

It was after I was after a playing a CWDB scenario.

So based on your suggestion, I have tried, exit the game completely, and attempting the QBG 1v1 Naval, and it runs OK. So That's Good.
(Albeit the Anzac Destroyer runs away from my T45 after wasting its first volley of anti ship missiles :)

Which is... smart? My guess would be it is trying to maintain its weapon standoff against you. You can observe something similar in a boxing match.
