Do all the new features of the Beta's mess up the AI's ability to plan (somewhat) effectively? I'm starting a new game of the Courland Pocket, and was curious what effect all these changes might have on the Soviet AI.

Hopefully not. But also the smaller scenarios have not been tested not just for these patches but for since they were introduced so there is no absolute guarantee.
