Les_the_Sarge_9_1 -> (7/3/2001 9:30:00 AM)

I dont monitor much of anything out there, dont read the game mags, dont wander web sites much, so its nice to hear that Matrix really stacks up out there in the eyes of the gaming world. Naturally I wonder if I am missing something out there, but it appears I am already in the place to be. Nothing like positive feedback from other organizations.

sinner -> (7/3/2001 9:32:00 AM)

Only first and fourth position? I say that the tournament was unfair and bought by the guys that got the third and fourth positions... :D :D MatrixGames crew should at least be First and Second + a very Grand applause for fine work, excellent modelling of warfare and even better personal attitudes. (how do you salute on e-mail?)

BruceAZ -> (7/3/2001 9:50:00 AM)

I am very proud we won the award. I like to thank everyone who voted for us on behalf of Matrix Games. We also have a little treat for you as well. SPWaW v6.0 coming soon.

thewood11 -> (7/3/2001 5:48:00 PM)

I must admit I have had only a passing interest in SPWAW until recently. I had downloaded it and played it only between sessions of CM. I think the latest changes in the infantry combat routines is amazing. One of the reasons I have played CM is the treatment of infantry combat, and now I actually find myself playing SPWAW more for the same reasons. I think that the reward is symbolic of the changing attitude of people towards SPWAW. It is moving from "its an interesting because its free" to "its a serious wargame that hold its own. Congratulations.

Nemesis -> (7/3/2001 7:27:00 PM)

Congratulations to you all :D! You certainly deserve this! Well, WIR could have been nominated too, but I guess you can't win 'em all.
