For some reason I'm only generating very arid and dry planets regardless of which options I pick. I would put this in the technical support forum but I'm sure if this is intentional or not, space isn't exactly full of earth-like planets soo.

Take siwa roll geology until you get a earth like atmosphere in description, then roll biome until it look like earth. Also try to get a mid sized planet or big as earth is this big

It doesn't only generate dry/arid but your right those choices seem to come up more than most. I spent 10 minutes re-rolling because I wanted a certain level of rainful, I didn't want any shortage while learning the game. Go for temperature settings in the 20s , that seemed to get me closer to what I was looking for.

What's your planet g and age? A low age or g will not have neough time for evolution or to little gravity to form a thicker atmosphere for life.

Can you share what G and Age would be best for the most possible rain? I have been trying to get more rain too, but the highest I have seen is 400 something and that was super rare to get. Have to constantly reroll for who knows how long. I would love it if there were more manual options for this or some way to mod/customize with more fine tuning and control. Random can be fun, but I don't always want random and I start over a lot.

When I want breathable air I usually go for a G between 0,3-0,4. Closer to 0,4 will result in a lot less rerolls. Age above 2 Billion.

I don't check the amount of rain, I look at what it said about the atmosphere. "Earth like" and it's easy to roll breathable air, "real, but modest" and you have to reroll more but usually needs filters only.
