AttuWatcher -> Allow public assets to be privatized (6/9/2020 4:30:36 PM)

It would be great if you could sell back some assets you don't need to the private sector. Maybe even a way to boost their happiness.

There could also be events from "Fat Cats" that want to buy out public assets. Etc.

Not suggesting this as a way to make the game easier, but as another layer of depth that makes the world feel alive and gives strategic choices to the player.

Thanks for reading. [&o]

Based on the information in the Management -> Profiles screen, the Interior Council can already generate cards that allow you to privatize assets, provided you have the Commerce tier 3 regime feat "Wealthy Friends". Apparently it functions as a bribe to a leader.

Those seemed to be about increasing Leader Happiness.

Pretty sure he meant Population Happiness. Wich is one heck of a pain.

I do not think it actually privatizes assets. It is just a "cash to relationship" Strategem

Yes, it turns out those are just cash bribes with a leader feat that increases their relationship every turn added on.
