Flight Plan and Continuous Coverage in Mission Editor

I started Playing CMO recently and it seems in the mission editor for Patrol missions there are two additional tabs than CMANO, Flight Plan and Continuous Coverage. But I didn't find any mention of what they do in the manual or by searching on the site. Are these placeholder tabs for future development or what am I missing?
