Maybe someone has an answer to this:

Troops are suddenly out of supply, although the transportation lines have been covered with axis troops troops for nearly every turn. [&:]
What happened?

You have no rail connection to that side thus can't repair the rail. Takes careful planning and HQ positioning to keep Finns supplied on the Russian side of the border.

Thanks Alvaro.
But why came that „out of nowhere“?
For more than 10 turns everything was fine, but suddenly the supply situation collapsed.
Every hex had unit zoc.

I think this is linked to the weather. Is it raining now?

What do you mean with the HQ positioning?

Meteor2 -> RE: Finland front (6/13/2020 6:39:24 PM)

No rain for several turns (August 44).

And same question: why should the position of the HQ be of importance for the supply?

AlvaroSousa -> RE: Finland front (6/14/2020 1:00:33 AM)

They weather makes it harder to move trucks out.
HQ extends supply. So if you put the HQ at the edge where a 1 supply is it will extend that out I think 2 hexes. I forgot if it's 2 or 3.

Meteor2 -> RE: Finland front (6/14/2020 7:20:48 AM)

But still, I have not understood, why the repair symbol occured in these places.
Partisans should not damage anything due to the presents of axis units.
Right?

AlvaroSousa -> RE: Finland front (6/14/2020 2:23:49 PM)

That's not partisan damage that's scorched earth. As the Finns move the Russians destroy the rail. And there is no repairing them because you don't have a rail connection anyways.
This was put in place to simulate the realistic supply challenges of that Front. The USSR and Finns had issues there. Also in 1944 it doesn't make it a cakewalk to KO Finland. It works both ways.
