Yeah. "Misunderstanding". Right. We know those imperialist Poles are trying to conquer Europe. They're not fooling anyone.

Don't you mean "Reconquer Europe"? They did have the largest nation in Europe at one point, you know.

Making the Poles are making a movie about a bunch of wacky soldiers with an urban assault vehicle?

Someone needs to design a scenario for this. Armored Brigade? TOAW?

What are the stats for an Urban Assault Vehicle (UAV)?

I'm not sure exactly, but here is a technical from Lock n' Load Tactical Digital Days of Villainy. Should be close except for the 2 FP 360 degree arc machinegun on the technical.

Yeah but the RV has a toilet, a cooler for beer and kitchenette.

I'm thinking that might equate to P for half squad load and I don't think the accessories are enough to give it an armor factor, though experts might debate that. If there is enough metal in the accessories, perhaps a 0 armor factor.

RangerJoe -> RE: Poland 'invades' Czech Republic in 'misunderstanding' (6/18/2020 11:53:37 PM)

If I remember correctly, it was lightly armoured.

It also has Bill Murray so it should be a +10 BM.

The guy is a ghostbuster after all. C'mon guys, let's get real here.

Okay, after researching the EM-50, I realize I was wrong. It was "heavily armored" though I can't find the specs. I would think it might need an armored rating like a light tank or maybe a Bradley Fighting Vehicle at least.

EM 50

Excerpt: Based on a GMC 1976 GMC 26' Palm Beach motorhome, it was heavily armored (including roll-away shutters to protect the windows and other sensitive areas from weapons fire) and armed with machine-guns, a cannon, flamethrowers, a multiple rocket launcher, and assorted infantry weapons. It also featured a fully equipped communications and navigation suite and it could operate as an armored personnel carrier where personnel could enter and exit the vehicle by a power operated ramp at the back. The vehicle was shown to be impervious to cannon fire when it was shot at by a cannon mounted in a tower. Designed to prowl urban areas without attracting attention, the EM-50 could quickly deploy its weapons before an enemy knew it was there or realized what it was.

Good thing Guderian and Rommel didn't have any of these. [X(]

Telling them to go back to Berlin and forget about the whole thing?

jwarrenw13 -> RE: Poland 'invades' Czech Republic in 'misunderstanding' (6/27/2020 2:06:29 AM)

I think the drawback would be off road capability.
