Razorix22 -> IP not send to zones... (6/15/2020 7:44:42 PM)

I would like to understand something...

I'm actually in a mid-game where I struggle building assets in my non-capital zones.

I have actually 5 zones for one central 1 SHQ. My logistics lanes are OK (save for the zone on the left) with supply base and truck station every 6 hexagons, railroads, etc... It send correctly resources across my empire. It's just the Industrial points.

I really don't get it why all my others zones can't receive correctly IP. Do I need to build 1 SHQ for each zone ?

If someone can give me a hint. ^^'

Thanks by advance !

Your logistics are not OK. A truck station will supply fully to 10 hexes on dirt roads. A supply base 1 will give a 1 time boost of 5 hexes on dirt. A second supply base will not improve the range further! On sealed roads the range is doubled.

In simple terms truck+supply base is only needed every 15 Hexes

1 SHQ is supposed to manage several zones. And you really should avoid adding any.

Supply Base + Truck station every 6 hex, means your propably waste most your supply on getting fuel to them [:)] Way to dense a network. Asuming you did not already run out of fuel, how you are guzzling it!

"It send correctly resources across my empire. It's just the Industrial points. " It is just the industrial points on top of everything else. All resource have to share logistics capacity: Food, Fuel, Ammo, Soldiers, Metal, IP.
Excluding Recruits and Settlers, IP is hte last resource on the list.

Also, you did have a supply in teh SHQ before oyu hit end turn, right? Sending supplies out happens before collection.

Thanks for your answer. :)

It can cause trouble to have too much truck stations on a lane ? I can't show you a picture (account created less than 10 days...), but I have absolutly no bottleneck. Should I scrap some of my logistics assets ? Build them more effectively ?

Edit : Thanks zgrssd for the precision... It's probably my problem, right...

I put 1 public, T1 Truck station in every city. With the capitol and otehr dedicated distribution hubs, it can go higher.
Nationalize truck Stations. The private one go no range.
Then Upgrade Roads
Then Upgrade Truck stations
If that still does not work, make a new distribution hub (higher Truck Station) and connect it via rail to the capitol/SHQ.

Razorix22 - IP is free to send, so as long as you have you have at least 1 LIS connected to a where your SHQ is storing it (your capital in this case), then the IP should be distributed correctly.

My guess is your SHQ --> City LIS is either being blocked by a traffic sign, or most likely, your cities are receiving partial IP instead of 100% IP requested, because you do not have enough IP available to supply your buildings.

Try this:

1) Go to Management Screen --> Click "Asset" tab.
2) Click your 1st SHQ. Click "Start Turn", and "Expand".
3a) Click each of your cities. Do you see a red 0's next under "SHQ DELV" + "IP"? If yes, that means there is a severed LIS connection on your current turn, between your SHQ and city. This is because you either just conquered the hex, or you have ran out of LIS.

Correct this by waiting a turn and checking again, or adding additional LIS points to ensure a connection next turn.

3b) Do you see a yellow number under "SHQ DELV" + "IP"? That means there is an LIS connection, but you don't have enough IP to fully service the requested IP for that zone.

Correct this by increasing the amount of IP points available to your zones. You can do this next turn by reducing construction speeds (100%, 75%, 50%, 25%) of IP demanding assets. You can cancel construction. Or by building IP generating assets.

Check to see if the problem is solved by clicking "preview", and make sure the numbers come up white. That means they are expected to come to the zone at 100% request/provide. Expected. If they are yellow/red, hover your mouse over, and it'll tell you the expected problem.

Good luck!
