It's never clear the total weight of a model while designing it. After choosing one piece of equipment the total weight of the unit should be shown so the player can make a better informed decision about the rest of the equipment, especially the engine.

If you hover over a selection, the tooltip will give you a running total including hte part you are pointing at.

I needed to the told that as well.
