Sgt.Striker -> Transports (7/30/2003 6:40:25 AM)

Is it vital to use all your assigned AO's Aks and APs or should you leave a few in reserve. Should i constanly be transporting Divisions up from Brisbane or be more selective and just take what i need? What bout Destroyers and Light Cruisers,what is the best approch for them? I have many destroyers with my two Carriers and one Surface combat group ,but the rest are with 3 cruisers in another Surface group at Nourmea, O ya its Scenario 19 umm 07/06/42 or something, Any hints are appreciated. THanks in Advance

If you have troops in Brisbane or Noumea and you don't intent to use them immedaintly, it is advisable to move them to more forward bases ready for a future deployment.

It is the same with moving supplies and fuel.

Every transport should be moving somthing somewhere.

When you see the opportunity looming, move the transports to the forward bases and start loading the troops.

Keep moving supplies and fuel forward, but leave troops in a non-malaria port until you need them. Otherwise they will degrade over time, and will be in less than optimal condition when you do need them.
