Hi..

As the title says are there good scenarios that utilize the SR-71 ?

I know that the SR-71 features in the DLC Desert Storm. It's pretty awesome setting it to full power over enemy airspace, but watch the fuel consumption! I cannot remember any single scenarios that it features in though...
Although you could always edit a scenario and add the unit in!

Ahh I see, I was hoping for more of a hypothetical scenario with the USSR or China. It is a fascinating unit and I wanted to test it out against more advanced opponents.

But yes I guess I can add it in any existing scenario.

Thank you, this is quite an interesting scenario. Really shows how difficult it is to intercept this beast even with Mig-25!

Yeah, To Kill a Mockingbird is an awesome scenario. A real challenge and very satisfying when you are able to pull off a kill.

I think there was a scenario that had the player controlling the blackbird but I can't remember the name. Closest I see is Homerun, 1956 but that uses RB-47s.

Caribbean Fury 2: Retribution, has an SR-71 early in the scenario.

I read the crews could launch from Kadena in the morning after breakfast, have lunch in Germany, and be home for dinner with the kids at night. Not sure if that's an urban legend. If true, an amazing feat. Of course, there was no TSA back then.

Yeah and one of the upcoming CF scenarios will also have one and probably in an upcoming NF scenario as well. I don't tend to put them on the player side though, I,m not sure of any scenario with one under player control.
