VoodooDog -> do i need a road next to every rail? (6/25/2020 1:50:25 PM)

or what might be the reason that my logistics only reach until the raod ends?

my tanks on the left can only move as far as the road goes with stratmovement.
you can see the railhead in the assets row. it only produced 2 rail points this turn, i dont know what these are for? do i need 5 (my other working railheads have 5) for this to be working?
whats the issue? helppppppppp :D

That railhead is not getting any fuel to run. So all you get is the lower 10% of the Rail Capacity.
While fuel travels for free, you still need a logistics network connecton. And apparently only rail does not count.

I am honestly confused how you managed to put that Railhead there, without a road connecting it to it's city?

Rail heads take 300 workers. Build another one on the hex with the 1954 points remaining you can always close it later. Also consider building another rail station in the city where the tanks are at.

Edit: Because what it looks like is there is very little rail points on that line, I did some testing in a save game and to have only 50 points on that rail means you're very far downstream from a rail station.

The current beta toned down the values a lot. Or maybe the station is operating on exactly 50%? I guess the other 2000, 1904 and the like are from the road network.

Without a end station, Rail only brings the lower 10% of it's rated capacity. 500 or 450/50 seems like it could be right.

You can check with the preview points in the map layer bar. You can see how specific logistics installations are working how how far their points are going.

The railhead is only at Prod 50% click it a few times to open the asset and you can find an overview of what it did and the upkeep and the like. That might help.

Do you have enough current logistics points to move your units? You need points for the weight of the unit all the way to your destination. I have to sometimes only bring units halfway because I am moving to many to a new front and some zones dont need that many LIS.

Check that preview points for the rail network and give us a screenshot. You can also use the traffic tool to see what points are moving where.
