ORIGINAL: zgrssd Who cares from which direction they come? I guess I am just not understanding something about logistics. The biggest problem seems to be units at the front running low on supplies; because all logistics are divided equally among all roads (without traffic signs), it seems like this approach is not going to help to get maximum supplies to the front--therefore, it seems like I should want most logistics flowing towards the front (with some allowance for stuff flowing back to SHQ), rather than some of them being diverted by running "backwards" towards the center. I just don't get it... There is no direction to LP. Don't think of them as trucks moving in a direction along a road. Think of them as the number of trucks that are assigned to that entire segment of road. If your units at the front aren't getting supplies, its probably because you don't have enough trucks assigned to the road that leads to the front. You can fix this in two ways: 1. Build a bigger truck stop so that you have more trucks. 2. Use traffic signs so that fewer trucks are assigned to random side roads. Or even better, remove the random side roads entirely. Do remember that public assets like mines need at least 100 LP per turn (per level) to operate at full capacity. You probably also want a lot of trucks assigned to the roads that go in-between your cities, because those are the roads that the SHQ uses to distribute construction material (which uses up a lot of trucks).
