eddieballgame -> What is your largest Alien life form? (7/12/2020 11:21:10 AM)

A friend of mine generated a 34 meter alien life form in one of his games.
Curious what others have seen per their largest sizes.

i think my largest was 36m and i was like "That's not a lifeform, that's a kaiju!" It was a blather too, if I remember right, so just imagine these 100ft balls rolling around destroying the countryside, LOL

No I had mine before the History update.

This one is the largest I've got so far, a 33m carnivore.

Having that stack snacking on my 500 man MG battalions in the early game was annoying.

But these herbivores from another game is the most dangerous alien stack I ever encountered, starting out with 8700 when I found them roaming a ruined megacity in the early game while I was still at the automatic rifle/padded environment suit stage.

When the stack stampeded in the direction of troops it flattened them without taking casualties, so I mostly tried just to stay out of the way. But I still needed to maintain my logistics connections between cities, which occasionally required leaving troops on roads and hoping it would go somewhere else.

The 8200 screenshot is after I finally inflicted 500 casualties on it when the Astrazogots decided that flattening a stack with an infantry/MG battalion, its HQ unit, and a GR infantry battalion was a good idea. It succeeded too. But at least it lost 5.7% of the beasts.

Hell, no surprise I'm avoiding alien life - their stats are completely crazy.

33m beast is pose no danger at all - it can't hide, tank gunner can't miss it and a single APDS will kill it. Old good one 155mm artillery shells will butcher it too.

Small swarms should be scary, not big monsters. Big monsters are cannon folder due how biology is work.

42 m top predator, they made early game a bit of a pain.
