In CSME Duel for Golan 85: Rafid, the Egyptians have an unusual weapon. It is shaped like an old curved monitor with a blank screen. On closer inspection it is called a T 55A? What tactics do you suggest?

Apologies for a late reply, edward77.

Which exact unit do you mean, could you give its hex co-ordinates, please?

By graphic, do you mean the NATO symbol for an armoured (tracked) unit, like below?

Edit: so if that's right, it's the Syrian T-55 main battle tank, already outdated in 1985 that the scenario portrays. Try to get close to Israeli tanks using the terrain, then fire at close range. If Armour Facing optional rule is ON, then flank and rear shots carry the day. Good luck!

One further comment, as you are likely playing using the 2D "Boardgame" views, as I do as well. If you find the NATO symbols on chits confusing, there's an option to change those to 3D unit images.

See Top menu under Options and select: -> Counter Graphics -> 3D

... what you'll then see is something like this - hopefully more helpful in identifying what's what, if you don't know your NATO symbols by heart as many don't.

(Note that I turned Options -> Counter Stats ON as well, as I like to see the quantity, morale, assault, and defense values of my friendly units at any time. With fog of war, you can only see enemy strength stat, if even that, to help in choosing your targets)
