I can't figure out how to use a modified eqp file as the default eqp file?

I can use modified equip files for particular scenarios if they are in a subfolder under graphics override with the same name as the scenario. I thought that I could create a new default eqp file by putting the modified eqp file in the base graphics override folder, but that doesn't seem to work? If I put it there, does it need to have any particular name? I've tried TOAWEquipment.eqp, but that didn't work...

The correct name for the modified database files that you have to put inside the Graphics Override folder are equipment.eqp and equipment.nqp. Then when you starts the game, this modified database is loaded by default.
Be careful because if you load a previous scenario that does not have an associated database, the equipments of the scenario will be those of the modified database.

Perfect, thanks for the info and for the heads up--will give it a try! I'm mainly playing around with various test scenarios right now, so I want all of these scenarios to use my eqp file.
