mlomax -> Mountainizer (8/7/2003 8:40:06 AM)

I was searching some of the past forums and I saw something about a program called "Mountainizer". Does anyone have it and if they do can you send it to me? My email address is: michaellomax@charter.net:D

AbsntMndedProf -> (8/7/2003 6:34:06 PM)

Mountainizer should be available here:

http://www.ectopia.net/~ectizen/

However, the site has a message that the server it resides on has suffered a catastrophic failure, and is being fixed even as we speak. Hopefully the site will be back up soon, or someone may know another place to get it. (Fingers crossed.)

mlomax -> Thanks (8/7/2003 6:47:51 PM)

Thanks for the URL. I was kinda hoping that if someone had the program they could email it to me. Oh well, thanks anyway though.

Mlomax, i´ll send you the file at weekend coming! Btw, "mountanizer" is part of the SDQ (Scenario Designer Quickies) tools package. Unfortunately still little known and therefore highly underappreciated IMO!:(

At least the little interest keeps me from working on some tutorial for the SDQ modules.:D

Orzel Bialy -> Mountainizer Rocks... (8/8/2003 10:53:13 AM)

you have to plan your map out really well in advance...but when you need more than three levels...it's a great tool to have in your tool-chest! ;)

bchapman -> (8/8/2003 9:10:30 PM)

mlomax,
The SDQ file is headed your way.
Harry, I have beta2, is this the latest version?

Harry, I've never heard of this "Scenario Designer Quickies." Where is it and how do you get it?

I'd like to have SDQs, myself!

Michael, yours is on the way (again :o ) :D
Zero, one going to you too. If you don't get them soon, let me know.
This program, or set of programs was designed by Ecitizen. He states that it is free for distribution to anyone that would like to use it. Any credit for it needs to go to him though. I'm just a delivery boy :D .

challenge -> (8/9/2003 9:40:31 AM)

I think you should find a site to post this on. I'd like to play with them as well...

I must have missed this one. I use Fred's Map utilities all the time, but never got the mountainizer. Can I get a copy of the SDQ emailed to me at Double Deuce ? I would appreciate it.

You know, one day someone should build a place to host ALL these add on's for SPWAW so players can access them from a central location. At the least a website with links to where the owners have them for download.

Great! :D Ken just appeared to have volunteered to write the Tutorial! :D :D ;)

Here´s SDQ (Scenario Designer Quickies) attached. However, to have it available on any other site than ECTIZEN´s, you need to have his permission first! There´s yet more ECTIZENS tools worth to try, including "MAP THING" and some more.

Ahh, yes. Can't forget that one. I use it every once in a while to map operational maps for my campaigns. Perfect for showing the exact terrain as opposed to actual scanned maps. It is also excellent for printing out maps for planning purposes.

Exactly!:cool:

The other lil application left, was "ECTIZEN´s Scenario Wrangler", a tool that helps to organize scenario files within different folders ect.
