TheOriginalOverlord -> [Logged] Shore based coastal batteries accuracy and visibility (9/17/2020 3:06:34 PM)

Playing Operation Lion's Den (nighttime raid to Haiphong Harbor with USN Gun Cruisers) The USN ships are spotted 12-15nm away and taken under fire from 130mm and 85mm coastal guns. Usually the USN ships are hit with the first salvo and continuously pummeled. The batteries are never spotted even though I fly A-7 attack birds down the line of incoming shells and "orbit" the suspected firing area at 2000ft no units are ever spotted. Issues are visibility of the firing units and the accuracy of them as well. With a daytime muzzle flashlike this... [image]https://live.staticflickr.com/4203/34848134346_b476588972_b.jpg[/image] you would think it would be easily spotted... Would a simple fix for accuracy be adjusting the "surf" accuracy % ? Also there is a 122mm coastal battery..I don't think it fires because in it's weapon record it says launch altitude of 8203ft or something similary. Not sure if thats an issue. Save not submitted...just load scen and point ships towards shore..won't take long.
