What is the mission logic of Fighter Bombers set on full support? Will they intercept, escort, or bomb? And what is their priority for escorting as opposed to bombing?

These units are actually attractive now and I am considering using them.

They are air sups, of course they will escort bombers.

Ok, thanks. I'm just a little confused about the priority here. Will the AI use them to escort first if other bombers are available, or will they do ground strikes? I'm just trying to figure out the best way to use the planes. If that means manually selecting bombers to do ground strikes to ensure they are escorted, then fine. If the AI is smart about this and reserves them for escort duty first, then I don't need to manually select bombers.

As the code stands air sups with ftr-bmber do the follwing only

ground strike well
intercept
escort

as all air sups do. They do not ground support.
