Hmm, that map has a much smaller scale than vanilla, but I don't recall seeing a scenario like that in the relevant subforum here, unless I missed it. [&:]

Yeah most humans learn real quick to avoid those type of surrounded hexes unentrenched. Even entrenched you will usually get destroyed as well. The AI on the other hand does not learn. Certain hexes are just meat grinders you avoid at all costs! Wish this could be fixed for the AI as well!

It is the Ludendorff Offensive Scenario in your campaigns.
