Greetings,

We are in need of two art people for a new game project. Please PM me if any interest or for further information.

We, of course prefer people who are AE players and modders as are most all of our project team!

What we need:

01 - Ship Art
The ship art for this new game will be similar but different from AE ship art. But experience with AE ship art is definitely preferred for this role.

02 - General Artist
This person will do things like UI panels, unit icons, select pics (including checking copyrights) for various in game screens. And if possible help out with ship art as well.

I know someone who likes to make maps for TOAW mods in his spare time. Back in the old days of cardboard chits on paper maps he made pieces for about every Napoleonic battle ever fought, I think, and the maps too, painting them and putting the decals on and they were beautiful. But he's way older than me (and I'm no Spring gornlet) and doesn't have the skill set you're looking for.

What we need is

1. Interest / persistence

2. Tools (bring your own tools)

3. Experience

Probably in that order. As wife says "Age is just a number" ... so we don't care about that aspect :)

In his case age means he can't even figure out a cell phone, let alone a smart phone. As he says, "I didn't live in this century". I think that's a Dan Quayle.
He still has a land line. On it he has a newfangled phone that takes messages, but it's always full because he can't figure the darn thing out.
