So, I was playing on the Entente side of 1917 Fate of Nations and I was able to quickly dispatch of Austria-Hungary and Bulgaria. As a result, the German forces in Romania got completely cut off with the exception of two small cities, both supply 3. I knew there were two headquarters, but they should only bring the supply up to 5.

However, the Germans were really hard to dislodge for some reason, and as it turns out they somehow brought it to 8. Yes, one headquarters had a value of 2(5), but the other had a value of 5(8).

So I'm confused.

It won't allow me to post a link in the initial post for some reason, so I am posting it here. Some weird message about 7 days from tenth post.

And oh yeah, somehow Austria-Hungary is at 100 percent mobilization and is being invaded.

This seems like the chained HQ supply, which is WAD, did not know the AI able to do it.

Basically the first HQ gets 2, boost it to 5, and than this gives the second HQ 5, which boost it to 8, and than this 8 will be distributed for the units.

Tendraline -> RE: Supply Bug (10/1/2020 5:50:31 AM)

But would it not increase from a four to a six because the second HQ is a bit away from the first? Or does it for some reason collect the initial supply value from its neighbors if those are from HQs?

Hi Tendraline,

For reference, I would start on page 170 in the manual and then specifically take a look at section 6.26.8 on page 171.

Hope this helps,
Hubert
