BKL -> [Logged] Can I Change Font Size? (10/24/2020 3:48:32 AM)

I am wondering, is there a way to increase the font size without changing my screen resolution or icon percentage in my Windows display settings? In other words, within a setting with CMO? I have a high def Alienware computer and the font is kind of small and a little grainy. Thank you.

Can you show us a screenshot and point us to the part of text that you have trouble with?

Here's an example. It is all readable, just seems a little grainy. I am not sure if this is just how it's meant to be. I have this on high-resolution 3840x2160 with icons at 200%. I have also checked the file compatibility so that it follows the system DPI. I would think that higher resolution would make it crisper.

Right, I see what you mean.

I'm afraid this is WAD for the time being. Switching to a 4K-native UI is a huge investment that has lower priority than most of the other initiatives we currently have underway.

As a reference, here is a screenshot of v1.02 on my 4K monitor:

With the current version of CMO, you need to choose (above 1080p) between :
* A: crisp, but small text size
* B: crisp, large text size ; however the text will overflow some buttons
* C: blurry, large text size ; no overflow

I use A.
Here is how to get each:

A: make sure in Windows display settings that "change the size of text, apps and other items" is at 100%. Relog/restart computer if value was changed. Then locate your command.exe -> properties -> compatibility -> change high DPI settings -> make sure "override high DPI scaling behavior" is set to application

B: same but in the windows display settings use a percentage above 100%
