So I converted a scenario from TOAW III to IV, loaded it no issues (forgot to test it out - play it) and then I have busy editing it a little, mainly just the briefing and the *.col file, nothing really major. But when I try to load it I get a dialog box pop up with an error:

Anyone getting this or seen it before? If so what is the fix?

Now it's happening every time I load up TOAW...

I figured it out.
I had put a ~ in the file, doc and *.col name, that is a no-no...it blows up every time....

Zovs,
Thanks for showing us what not to do. [:D]

As cryptic as some of the error messages are when it CTD, it still shed some light on where the possible problem may have lied, plus the fact that I knew that I had changed the file. Here is the rub.
In the editor, the program allows you to save a file with a '~' or other special character. But the program also, when loading said scenario in the actual game, will CTD. So there is an inconsistency there.
