Originally posted by Procrustes I don't use IE much, but you can get rid of the frame (and get the old appearance) if you are using Netscape and WebWasher http://www.webwasher.com/client/home/index.html?lang=de_EN (it's free, kills pop-ups, redirects, all that crap.) Once you have webwasher running you may not see the frame. If you do, right click inside the forum page and choose "This Frame"/"Show only this frame". I've used webwasher for some time now - does a nice job of filtering out the noise. Also, the newest version of netscape (7.1) has a built-in pop-up killer which is pretty nice. Have to keep IE around for the occasional website that doesn't like Netscape (like the microsoft sites  )
I use Opera . :) It has all the nice features mentioned above, plus alot more. The slight downside is that if you want the free version it has a small ad banner in the toolbar, but I don't even think about it anymore. And oh yeah, you can tell it to identify as IE, Opera or Mozilla which makes it work just about everywhere. But what I really like is that it's fast and has a very handy browse interface and you can adjust it to just about any setting you like.
