Destragon -> [1.06.06] Aircraft design stuff (12/4/2020 1:42:51 PM)

1) I've asked this before, but I'm still kinda confused about it. Vic, you said that the hitpoints of aircraft get randomised by 50 points. Is that really intended to happen when you design a new iteration of a model? Here for example, I designed a new version of a heli to test this: [image]https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/504754524079259678/783504331537907809/unknown.png[/image] These two versions of the heli have identical equipment and the only difference between them is that the bottom one has 1 point of better aerodynamics and 4 points of better armor strength, yet it lost around 20 HP. Is this randomisation only supposed to happen with brand new designs? It seems pretty random to me that it applies to iterations. Did the technicians decide to randomly take off 20 HP worth of armor? Also, the fact that this is randomised is currently not displayed in the design log as far as I can see. The designlog only mentions that HP is influenced by size, armor strength and small arms protection points. 2) This is just a question, because it's pretty difficult to test this ingame: Are the stats that you see at the end of the aircraft design process influenced by your optimisation techs? It looks to me like yes for fuel efficiency, but for example is aerodynamics optimisation taken into account here or is that only taken into account when the model has been finished?
