I was wondering if there exist an short flowchart of a turn for this game?

Boardgames has this and it is extremely useful in how-to-learn a game by playing it step-by-step until one gets the hang of it.

I am aware of many good gameplay videos, albeit these requires alot more time and sometimes inconvinient playbacks.

Do you mean like, "first look at your decisions, then look at your resource income, then your logistics network, then move your units" or something like that?

If you're looking for some basic information for how to get started in the game, look at section 4 in the manual. Starts on page 89. It walks you through the basics and the stuff you need to know in the first turns.

Very useful: look first at all decisions and reports before you do anything.

So don't spend money if you have obligations elsewhere, don't strategic move if you want to upgrade troops at the front first, etc.

But this means that the order in which you do things depends entirely on the situation.

I violate this rule often when I start fighting that battle before I have taken a general look, because that is where my excitement is.
