just getting into the game, which mods should i be checking out?

I tried ManzrMikes maps but they dont seem to work with the current update.

I read your other post and my mod works. I did exactly the same as you. Here is a pic of my folder. It works on both the Steam and Matrix versions. This is weird.

It could be permissions.

So you know drop the mod images in place THEN start the game.

If not it could be permissions.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Matrix\WarPlan\WarPlan.exe (right click) -> properties -> Advanced -> toggle on Run as Administrator -> ok -> ok
OR
C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\WarPlan\WarPlan.exe (right click) -> properties -> Advanced -> toggle on Run as Administrator -> ok -> ok

I dont need to select it anywhere correct, since its in the scenario folder it should pick it automatically correct?

Hmm, I wonder what I am doing wrong...I will try to find your suggestion ALvaro...

PS great job making this game sir...I am really looking forward to diving deep into it.

Yes just dump the PNGs in the scenario folder like above. But the names have to match what the games pick up.

These are the picked up names for custom images

borders.png
control.png – control toggle based on country color
controlAlliance.png – control toggle based on alliances
