joliverlay -> Looking for Japanese Player with Time to Play (12/29/2020 2:51:31 PM)

During COVID I'm working from home and have more time on my hands than 1 game can fill. I'd like another, something reasonably close to history rather than fantasy, and was thinking of Bottlenecks in the Pacific. But other mods are also good. I've learned from getting pummeled over and over again that the Allied should expand slowly and cautiously, so if you are prone to quitting if the Allied does not recklessly squander resources in 1942, this is not your game. Well it might be, but don't depend on it. I usually get hammered more in 1943 when I start to counter attack, so 1942 can be boring for some. I'm OK as an Allied player, but not great. But I can get turns back regularly. It varies from 0/day (internet down for storm) to 10 per day on a weekend with another U.S. opponent, also working from home. Since COVID against one opponent I did up to May 1943 and we restarted and are back on May 1943 again. Thats about 1000 turns in less than a year. I'd also like to see if I've learned anything from my ongoing game, and waiting another year to start another game is a waste of time at my age. Let me know if you are interested.
