We need 3 more players and a person who keeps track of 3 games US vs. GER.

more info here:

http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=43300&goto=newpost

we need:

1 experienced GER player
1 newby GER player
1 veteran US player

we have:

viking: vet GER player
frankw: exp. US player
sonny: newby US player

thx.

some more:

the person you is the arbitrator ( hope itīs the right word "schiedrichter" in german ) has not much work.

he choses the map ( should be the same ) for all 3 games and looks that all 3 games run smooth in the end of the games he getīs all stats and he collects the opinions of the players about the weaknesses and strength of GER + US forces in PBM.

He then posts all this in the forum for open discussion.

Shurely a honourable position !:D

edit: VET US plyer is rbrunsman !
only 2 positions left....

If you can wait untill the 24th for my first turn I can be newby GER. Alhough Ive been around for a couple of years I am mostly a SU player and my skills with the gerries are nex to nil.

Frank W. -> (8/16/2003 8:29:47 PM)

mr. angry:

i donīt think you qualify as newbie in my eyes.....

but you can play the part if the US newbie player agrees and we find no other poor soul for the that mission :D

so even i can go through as newbie. havnīt accomplished much against viking or rbrunsman, too.

despite the fact i have 10-12 PBMīs ( as a guess ) played now as various nations.

Well....I'll volunteer for German Newbie if that is still open....wee! Multi tasking!

hello commandant !

it seems the newbie slot is full.

i note as a reserve player would that be
okay ? :)

so you can jump in if any of the players
canīt play for any reason !!

it seems we need only - 1 - more experienced player as opponent
for mr. vahauser !

CommadantFox -> (8/17/2003 3:32:31 AM)

Sounds good! And if I manage to not get slaughtered by Vikingno2 does that mean I count as experienced, or just lucky?

Frank W. -> (8/18/2003 1:01:29 AM)

i donīt know if viking has mercy with newbies and holds back a little (?)

if not and you manage to stand against him youīre are good :)

are you playing him right now ?

ps: you can play the game against vahauser if you want ? donīt know though if heīs newbie or experienced...

but your are in my note book as reserve in every case !

CommadantFox -> (8/18/2003 1:16:18 AM)

Yes. I'm playing him. Wee! I just got 3 Brumbaers and a recon platoon wiped out! But it was worth it with a recon. Not every day one of those recon halftracks with a AT rifle thingie kills an M10. And ermm....is that PS directed at me? If so, I'll play. Me friends all have company, so I have waayyyyy to much free time. And exp is always nice...

sign up here and contact vahauser ...and select a map you like. perhaps we must need random maps instead as the game make smistakes with the retreat + reeinforcemant hexes with pre-designed maps in PBMīs :(

Uh, V2 is not noted for holding back. Vikings were merciless, IIRC. So, I think V2 is aptly named. :)

CommadantFox -> (8/19/2003 6:09:15 AM)

I agree...my biggest success: Killing one, count em, one M10!
