The the following 2 screenshots and savegames from turn 18 and 19 of my current game.

savegames:
turn 18
turn 19

The 1. Ind. MG Bat. (middle of the screen) is at the end of the short road, and some milita is sitting on top of the SHQ ... 300 replacement troops requested, yet the SHQ does not send them out (200 milita, 100 MGs "in storage") for several turns now.

There's even an entry in the reports, but I can't figure out what the problem is?!?

SHQ Logistical issues
* 1st SHQ has problems sending Replacements to Units (only 0% sent).

Militia is only for Militia units.

This is a regular army unit. You need to build reinforcements for it yourself.

May I point you to the fact that ...

a) the milita does not receive the existing reinforcements either and

b) there are (as mentioned in post #1) 100 MG sitting in the regular reserves (says 100/100),

both of which where not send to the units needing replacements for several turns?!?

edit: added picture, before some tells me (again) I have to build them by hand.

It's because they're outside the ideal operational range. Press 6 to toggle on the overlay. Units will receive full supply (provided logistics points are available) in green hexes and usually yellow hexes too. Beyond that, blue and red hexes, only food is guaranteed.

EDIT: Nvm - that won't apply to your militia unit. Could it be because it is wanting a different type of unit in its TOE? Like RPG Militia?

That overlay is on.
The MG troop is sitting at the end of the road in bright, fat, green area.
Added some labeling to the screenshot above ...

Anyone else want to come in and tell me I should read the manual, without thoroughly checking the screenshots/savegames?
I mean - if you want to call me st00pid, at least do with the proper justification, yes?

Dude, nobody has even said you're stupid or given you a lazy "read the manual" answer. We're all just trying to problem solve without the save file, no need to come in so hot.

In your first two posts where you have shown your units at the SHQ, is that a different turn to your post where you're showing the replenishment tab? If not, the 100 (MG needed)/100 (MG present) is the militia MG in your SHQ and that won't reinforce your independent battalion.

In terms of your militia unit, sometimes you can have the manpower (shown in your militancy view in the zone) but no equipment and so reinforcements aren't sent.

Uh so I didn't open the saves but to answer your original point, the reason the independent MG unit doesn't receive reinforcements is because you don't have any non-militia MGs in your SHQ. The count in the replacement window includes both militia and regular replacements so all you have is the 100 militia shown in your SHQ screenshot. Here is an example that shows both regular and militia replacements in the SHQ (this shows as 600 inf and 600 MG in the replacement window):

Lol folks, I definitly build those 100MGs using the "produce replacement troops" dialogue that pops up from the right screen side button "Repl.Troops".
With that dialogue, you can only build regular troops, not milita troops. Therefore the 100/100 cannot mean those "100x MG Milita" that the main screen shows.

Guess what happens if I load turn 18 and build another "100x LMG" (notice the name difference!):

... look what the troop list of the SHQ looks like now:

So it looks like the first "100x LMG" I build never properly registered.

And yes, maybe, the milita is waiting for a "100x Rifle Milita", which the game did not produce in 5 turns or more ...

I see no militia units with any damage. Note that they do still have TOE's so they will not just take any replacement either - it must be the type they lost. Unless some militia lost exactly a RPG or MG unit, they have no where to go for now.

The counting is faulty and includes Militia Replacements half the time. Includign ones that are not requested.

In none of the previous screenshots before of the SHQ was a non-Militia subunit to see.

Right.
As I mentioned, I build 1 replacement MG. Then a 2nd, and the 2nd worked. Seems the 1. never registered with the SHQ and was only visible in the build dialogue.

It's not a bug - the replacement count consistently includes militia units sitting in SHQ all of the time. But perhaps it's a suggested feature that militia doesn't produce units from the manpower and equipment it has in stock until replenishment is actually needed. The downside is that it means replenished troops may be a little less effective, as troops already produced can grow to 10 exp sitting in SHQ.

That is not what I am talking about.

The presumed bug is that
- 200 RPG sit in storage for >10 turns
- no other replacement units get produced at all
- the game complains that SHQ could not deliver b/c of logistical problems (which are not present)
... all at once!
