Game won't start

I just downloaded conflict from my games library. After clicking the desktop icon, I get the the menu to play game, open manual, etc. However, when I click "play game" nothing happens. I tried running compatibility for XP, Windows 8, but that didn't work either. I have new windows 10 system. Any suggestions? BTW, I just purchased Tigers on the Hunt and that game runs fine.

I have a similar issue (steam version) is there a place where I can found logfiles or something.
