Since that time, I see about 20-30 every weekend. In my area, the people on the rail trails are buying them like crazy - people of all ages. The small wheeled ones (like yours) appear to be vastly more popular than the large (full sized) wheeled ones. That could be due to the price difference, I do not know.

Small wheels allow you to start faster at a red light. And in a city, where there are red lights everywhere, you make less effort.
