With much fear and trepidation I am stepping into the multi-player gaming world. I've been playing against AI in about 6 games and find the AI to make a LOT of silly decisions. I've tried making it "smarter" by modding the AI rulevars, but no luck. I think this is a great game, but just can't keep playing it against AI. I'd like a 2 player ND3 game. I get a bit bored and overwhelmed by very large number of units, so prefer to play at just 2 regimes and 3-4 cities each. That seems quicker and easier for a "relative" noob. Anybody interested? I could do more than 1 game at a time if more than 1 person is interested.

Welcome to the Human vs. Human experience. I hope you will find someone soon. If not ask me, and perhaps I will. Could be though that I'd prefer a fixed map. There are several now, thanks to me updating a few of the older ones to the new standard. You can find them in the "12 pack" in the scenario bank, of VRdesigns.net I'll throw you a link and help you instsll, if it gets to that. Hope you find someone :)

That's VERY kind of you Ernie. I'll give it a couple of more days, and try posting to the last request for opponents and see what happens. If no bites it would be an honor to play you, though I"m certain of the outcome ;-)

Don't be too certain. It's been a while since I played the Stock Version of the game. :)

wish I could play but my internet connection here and my lap top just aren't up to it. I still haven't figured out how to transfer email files to games on this computer.

Played against Sarnold2222 and it was a pleasure. We used the PBEM Duel scenario in the "12 pack" of ANewDawn remasters of the stock scenarios. Nice to try one of them out :)
