Combat Mission returns with a brand-new chapter set between 1979 and 1982. This was the tipping-point of a conflict that gripped the world for 45 years, the Cold War.

Both the NATO and Soviet Warsaw Pact militaries begin to move away from the industrialized warfare of the early 20th century and towards the modern digital battlefield of today.

Developed by Battlefront, Combat Mission Cold War comes with 15 standalone scenarios set in the US V and VII Corp sectors of West Germany and 3 full length campaigns.

Prepare your best tactics and strategies: Cold War is coming soon, and things will be heating up when it arrives.

Maybe they will plan some DLCs.

Lobster -> RE: Combat Mission Cold War is coming soon (2/17/2021 7:25:47 PM)

You are likely right. Maybe a NATO pack with the U.K. and West Germany as two separate DLC. Then the Warsaw Pact and East Germany as two other separate packs. Throw in Turkey and a southern border and or Balkans expansions. One or two additional U.S. and U.S.S.R. DLC for new equipment and new 'game engines' which, if you look at the WW2 games, is their modus operandi. [;)]

Yeah, a multi add on milk cow. [:D]

Having said that. I really would like to see a pack with the minor Warsaw Pact nations and one that has the Italians. Modern warfare in mountains would be very interesting.

Any idea about cost? And will this game engine be another one that is a step up from Black Sea?

ncc1701e -> RE: Combat Mission Cold War is coming soon (2/18/2021 4:42:50 PM)

It is indicated in the above link: 60$

Lobster -> RE: Combat Mission Cold War is coming soon (2/18/2021 5:06:35 PM)

Sorry can't find the price there but thanks for the info. Going to have to wait for my Great Aunt Samantha to grant me a sum to study the game, on a scientific basis mind you.

varangy -> RE: Combat Mission Cold War is coming soon (2/20/2021 3:22:39 PM)

Can we have the picture in original quality?

You have plenty of screenshots here:

RangerJoe -> RE: Combat Mission Cold War is coming soon (2/24/2021 6:33:19 PM)

This could bring back some memories but M-1 tanks should also be available.

I wonder if there will be places so the units can "forage" for bier, bratwurst, wurst und kase, mit brotchen? [:'(]
