Towed by livestock like armies prior to and even during world war II? A 105MM howitzer that isn't towed by a truck or self propelled for example, I think the US at one point had a lightweight one that was split up into several parts with each part strapped to a mule but that's about as mobile and portable as I've heard of one.
I'm picturing envirosuited beasts of burden pulling around the heavy guns right now on certain planets.
