Another fan here. And let's not forget the "rival", Star Control. The sense of wonder was awesome. Comparable with the early "Ultima", only in space.

Played Starflight I so much on my Sega Genesis my wife threatened to throw it away if I didn't pay her some attention.

Wanna play it again? [;)] I have played the first 2 Star Controls and I say those are still valid games today. Would you say the same about Starflight series?
