ORIGINAL: SuluSea None, I loathe groupthink and the vast majority of censors at Facebook and Twitter cancels folks if they inject anything outside of what they perceive as social norms/ their bubble. I hear Reddit is as bad. Nevertheless a (small?) number of people have started raising up their middle fingers against it. I particularly lover this comment on Reddit (deleted by moderators): quote:
You can take that * mentality and shove it to your * Then are social media and forums with minimal required moderation, and oh boy... [8|] Reddit is too vast to fill a definition, and each subreddit has their own rules. Some are rather strict. Since I'm planning a new campaign at the Call of Cthulhu TTRPG I'm currently posting on that subreddit, and it is not really much different from here. The rules are simple and to the point. If anything, they are even much stricter than here. Other subreddits are the worst but they are not even the majority. I posted on the one devoted to Kubrick's "Eyes Wide Shut" a few years ago, when I finally watched the movie, and it was full of interesting debates and interpretations (bordering on the obsessive, true, but that's Kubrick for you [:D]). Again, the moderation was strict - even if, given the nature of the movie, they allowed for a lot of contents re: sexuality, eroticism, sex cults and a lot of other material NSFW. Still, it couldn't be gratuitous but pertinent. Definetely, Reddit also has design ideas for Factorio and for many many games. 'Ekşi Sözlük (started in 1999)' translated as'sour dictionary' is Turkish equivalent. Less about choosen ones for press or the government media -not only about some censorship overall- but social media can have full of ideas of all citizens. Some are bad or good like in life.
