War in the east was the game id waited for all my life. I was hoping foe the witp version of the ostfront. what i wanted and still want was Regiments, 5km hexes and 1 day turns. i was so dissappointed, but that didn't keep me from spending hundreds of hours in the game and the editor. Every little historical tidbit I could uncover ended up somehow affecting the OOB. If a company had a man with 2 pairs of socks, it woul nudge the morale a bit. the first units getting the Stg 44 were boosted. a million litle thing made the game distinctly mine. I wish I controlled production and thats what the editor is for. One thing I really want. Im willing to beg for it. i want to control the manpower. I wan to control the replacement army. I want to set how long the infantry replacements will train. And where they go. I think now a player has that kind of control over the supply chain. please my I have this.
