When I was stationed at Torii Station on Okinawa our barracks had really wide doors in an open frame on the ground floor where our First Sergeants office was. He had this little tiny convertible so we rolled it down the hallway and left it in front of his office door. He had a great sense of humor and said that he appreciated the door to door service because it rained later that day and he'd left the top down.
