Zovs -> Mini AAR for Operation Typhoon (solo) (3/26/2021 10:05:03 PM)

So here is a mini AAR of Typhoon. I am playing the Soviet AI on Challenging and not letting the AI run my Air.

This is the end of turn 1 (I'll try to post more next week, if there is intrest).

This is a grand overview at the end of turn 1.

This is zoomed in a bit:

Zoomed all the way in (it's stiched together as best I could):

I think this is a great scenario to get started with after you finish up the introductory scenarios. Its a great way for you to learn how to attack, create pockets, setup depots and even use the Air war with out AOG's.

I'll post a full size pic of the zoomed in view in the next post.

I have a 4k monitor and my screenshots are very large.

Interesting! will keep an eye out for this one.
using it as a tutorial is also smart.

I will be interesting how this snecario plays out campared to WITE 1, since rain is no longer the Imidiate paralysis that it once was.
a few questions:

1- are you playing with out Fog of War? this seams to much a great advantege since you can plan your encirclements to perfection.

2- Did you preserve 3rd panzer Group MP on porpuse? any particular reason you whent for the South pocket instead of the Vazma one?

1. with FOW
2. Yes. It was an experiment, seems to have worked.
