nice!!! 55 quid for a game that crashes

Erik Rutins -> RE: crashes on turn 1 of both introductory scenarios (3/27/2021 2:12:20 PM)

Can you please try the fixes here?

https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4987629

If those don't work, please upload a DxDiag and also please describe exactly what you were doing right before the crash. I can tell you that the game itself is remarkably stable for the vast majority of players and testers and we are working quickly to resolve any issues we missed in testing as customers report them.

I have sent a file

Any ideas why the game crashes?

Helpless -> RE: crashes on turn 1 of both introductory scenarios (3/28/2021 10:00:06 AM)

Can you check if you got a crash dump file name WarInTheEast2.exe.<number>.dmp in C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\CrashDumps?

You can zip and attach one to the post here. Thanks!

Go to your C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\CrashDumps folder. You may need to "unhide" the AppData folder.

https://www.freecodecamp.org/news/appdata-where-to-find-the-appdata-folder-in-windows-10/

Once you're in there, look for any file that looks like WarInTheEast2.exe.<number>.dmp

Zip it up and then attach it to a post here, as you did with your DxDiag.

https://www.howtogeek.com/668409/how-to-zip-and-unzip-files-on-windows-10/

Alternately, you can upload it for free to a service like wetransfer.com and post a link to the download in this thread.

Regards,

- Erik
