Wild Bill will be having a make-up chat at 8pm eastern time on Friday the 13th(insert movie reference here), and at 1pm eastern time on Saturday the 14th(insert really bad parody here). The capacity problem has been solved. We can now hold up to 200 people. I deeply regret any confusion over the chat on the 6th. We are striving hard to improve the chat room.     Speaking of the 13th. My wife went into labor almost 3 years ago early in the day on a Friday the 13th. She was so supersticous with it she held my daughter in until after midnight, refusing anything (including medication for the pain) that might speed up the delivery. Now she and my daughter are flying home tonight (the 13th) to visit her family in Louisiana. You can't imagine the things I've had to listen to since I booked that flight on this particular date :( Hope to be back from the airport in tme for the chat. Looking foward to it.

    I thought I'd try out the chat system in preparation for the big event, and quickly ran into a problem - my rampant javaphobia :eek: I was wondering if that java applet is just a fancy IRC client. And if it is, where would I point a regular IRC client? I tried unix.matrixgames.com:4444 with limited success - it let me connect, then promptly ignored me. Just like my phone company :( Is there any hope for me?

    The chat is on a private server. To the best of my knowledge the only way to join is through using the browser. I will look into it and poat once I have an answer. regards, sven

    The time in Gmt is Midnight on Saturday the 14th, and 5pm on the 14th. I have posted that I will gladly and happily translate the time of the Chat to local time for anyone who needs the help.     Sven, The rest of the world might go to imperial - after the US goes imperial. Not likely though. If American industry cannot handle conversion to metric, there is no way they could handle conversion to imperial. :D :D :D
