so you can finish all operations in just one click instead of thousands of clicks and save/edit.

Enough said. What operations? ASW Patrol (AC or Ship) etc....Can't be done. If you don't want to change anything just click play.

I am doing a lot testing cases. usually restart from a set of operations with just several parameters changed each test. previous ones are small scens so not big issue. but going to start with scen001 or self defined large scen it might include many repeat work which are not necessary.

The entire situation in the game is fluid, so no one script that you write in a batch file will be relevant for more than one turn - i.e. the batch file updates will be more work than doing the turn.

What!? Someone wants to reduce the number of mouse clicks that they have to do in the game!?

Yes, but you have 200 slots to save turns so you can just save the turns you are experimenting with and reload them to make changes and run them again.

Love your avatar picture - IJN and IJA finger-pointing, perfect! [:D]

More than that. The USA against the Commonwealth. The ANZACs against the rest of the Commonwealth. The Chinese amomst each other, the various Allies for recognition and help. But I think that the biggest one of them all was the US Navy against the US Army.

curious on how hard USN fight USA. any examples?
IJ government had 0 control of IJN/IJA. they belong to emperor only and the emperor keep out side of real commanding, basicaly there was not any chance to cooperate till the end. unlike US, after all they had to listen to the president and US Joint Chiefs of Staff I think?

True but MacArthur had a mind of his own and he outranked all of the other generals. He wanted to fight the war his way, the Army leadership in Washington wanted to fight it their way. MacArthur did not get along personally with others that well because of his ego. After all, it is hard to be humble when you are a genius.

Then there was Admiral King in charge of the US Navy and Admiral Nimitz in charge of the Pacific fleet. Neither of them would want to just assist MacArthur and the US Army fight their war.

In fact, part of the problems that resulted in the battle between the IJN Fleet and the CVEs and escorts at Leyte Gulf was because of the poor communication setup between MacArthur, who was in overall command of the invasion, including the US 7th Fleet which had to communicate with the 3rd Fleet under Admiral Halsey through a radio center located at Manus. This resulted in delays in communications but the messages were received out of sequence.

In more ways than one.

so the main factor would be the personality of MacArthur. the organizatin framework of US highest command should be OK.
