I would like to know the answer to these questions also.

The modded scenario looks very interesting. I have copied some of the text in the first post to create a scenario description.

Copy this into a text file and retain the formatting.

Just had a quick look at the scenario in the editor and I think he has done this through the game event editor.

Hi everyone,

I am in the process of moving and don't have access to my computers.

I made the change using the events as described above. Once I am moved into my new home I will make a video showing how I did that.

You have really inspired me with this.

I am going to do some experimenting tomorrow.

Thanks. [:)]

Great! Let me know if you are interested in collaborating on this. I'd welcome any contribution that you'd be interested in making.

You can adjust the TBs by going to the map and using the ctrl-b TB screen. Click on the word "Active" to turn a TB off. Other numbers like requirements can be changed here as well. Happy modding.

Thanks for the input.

I didn't know that and it's good to know.

I've been messing around with this and it is immensely useful. Thanks again.

For those who have tried this: any feedback so far?

IslandInland -> RE: 1942: Endsieg (4/19/2021 12:03:31 PM)

I haven't gotten into TB editing yet to any great degree due to RL but I plan to soon.

kahta -> RE: 1942: Endsieg (4/27/2021 2:39:05 AM)

1.03 Update coming soon.

Changes include:

Northern theater removed

Extended initiative change date

Italy takes over Garrison duties

Renewed German focus on infantry (security and luftwaffe division OOB changed to infantry)

Flak units released from cities for use on the Eastern front.

Even with these changes, this results in a significant challenge to the Axis.

Hi! Interesting scenario. Any news about the 1.03 update?

I just updated the original post. I skipped to 1.05 based on removing some of the other theater boxes.

erikbengtsson -> RE: 1942: Endsieg (5/23/2021 6:39:08 AM)

Thanks!

Won't the removal of Finland and it's army, and the release of Soviet Northern forces, make it harder for the Axis?

erikbengtsson -> RE: 1942: Endsieg (5/23/2021 6:40:58 AM)

I haven't played it yet, but plan to try it on from both the Axis and Soviet perspective.

Yes, I want to balance out the advantages the Axis gets.

kahta -> RE: 1942: Endsieg (6/18/2021 8:09:47 PM)

1.08 has been posted.

The game now begins with a Soviet attack on the formations near Stalingrad.

Units arrive in the Balkans because when they were moved to the Axis Reserve via the CSV it resulted in a chronic shortage of trucks. The Axis reserve box was WAD, but the result was that the game had a big shortage.

IslandInland -> RE: 1942: Endsieg (6/25/2021 6:32:03 PM)

How did you increase Lend-Lease for the Soviets.

Whenever I try to change anything in the Lend-Lease locations 2775, 2776 and 2777 (Lend-Lease Pacific, North and South) the data in those locations just reverts back to the default numbers when I reload the scenario. I tried setting the FID to 0000. That didn't work nor did just changing the factories to something the Soviets actually produced internally such as T-34s.

Did you increase Maximum Imports for each item of Lend-Lease?

Yes, that is what I did.

You make a good point to recheck it, I wonder if this has the desired effect.

I tried it and that also reverts to default numbers.

You might want to check your scenario because I have a feeling the advertised increase in Soviet Lend-Lease isn't actually occurring in the scenario.

Thanks- I will check. I'd looked at a simulated run and there were significant stockpiles of LL equipment by mid '44, perhaps there was another reason for that.

kahta -> RE: 1942: Endsieg (6/28/2021 12:48:58 AM)

1.09 Update

Description updated to remove reference to increased lend-lease.

The Soviets start with large lend-lease equipment stockpiles and mechanized corps OOBs include lend-lease equipment.

I've been trying to remove Lend-Lease from the North and South locations but increase the Pacific location Lend-Lease quantities.

So far everything I've tried makes no difference and after saving the scenario it always reverts to the default numbers.

I'll be happy when a manual for the editor is released.

It's generic data, and generic data cannot be saved per scenario as it is (same applies to OOB, factories and plenty of other things). You have to modify and save it over the originals. The promised editor changes will "fix" this.

That is what I suspected. I guess I will have to wait.
