Is there a written tutorial for the two training scenarios?....GP

for the Velikie Luki one, see 4.19 in the manual, that'll walk you through the first couple of turns and cover the main types of actions needed. Any game will start to diverge from about T3 onwards depending on what the AI does and so on, but it should get you set up and moving
