Question about how to use support units on defense.
The video I watched for the German offence recommends setting all the German HQs to zero for support units, then set the high HQs to 9. That is suppose to mve the support units to the high level HQ.
Then they allocate individual support units to Corp HQs and make their attacks. The support units are used (assuming good leaders)
The Russian AAR makes the same suggestion, but I suspect sequence of play may not let it work.
If you allocate individual support units to your Corp HQ.s When you end your move planning, I think the logistic phase moves all these allocated support units up one level to the Army level, and they are not where they need to be during the German attacks.
Am I right about the sequence, and is there a better way to use the support units? Without leaving them at the Corps level to get killed.
