Read some where that italians sinth oil had to be buit in Libia nor being able to set it up on italy. Is it true?

It is partly true. Italy has two synth plants, and one of them has to be placed in a specific hex in Libya. The 1938 plant can be placed anywhere, but the 1940 plant just one hex.

Think it was added with the Khaki in Flames kit. Check out the Houston oil...

If you refere to the Libya sinth oil, no, it was earliera thab Khaki, I saw many times the counter but never had KhiF

Ah yes, that synth is from the Politics in Flames kit and the Houston oil is not in MWiF, only CE.

The reason for the rule is that the Libyan synth plant does not represent an actual synthetic oil plant. Instead it represents the expansion of the Libyan oil fields.
