However, I remember that contrary to the strat bombing AD, planes committed in a tact AD fly at a given altitude (let say 9 000 feet) BUT attack at 1 000.
So, I deduce that the two directives produce the same effects but at a different altitude.
If I'm correct I would day that tact bomb AD could be more effective but also very risky if the hex has lot of FLAK.
Can someone confirm or rebut this déduction?
no, that rule only applies to ground attack/fighter bombers not LB and when doing a unit/interdiction style attack.
I've just run a test and they stay at the mission height for say a railyard attack
